Organization settings let you control how your workspace is identified — from the display name your teammates see to the URL slug used in every fsckmsft link. Owners and Admins can update most settings at any time, while a few critical actions (like deleting the organization) are restricted to the Owner alone. To open Organization settings, click your organization name in the top-left corner of the dashboard and select Settings. The General tab is where most of these options live.
Changes to your organization name, slug, or logo take effect immediately across the entire workspace — all teammates see the update on their next page load.

Update the organization name

Your organization name is the human-readable label that appears in the dashboard header, email notifications, and invitation messages.
1

Go to Settings → General

Navigate to Settings and make sure you’re on the General tab.
2

Edit the name

Click the Organization name field and type your updated name.
3

Save

Click Save changes. The new name appears in the header immediately.

Change the workspace slug (URL)

Your workspace slug is the unique identifier used in your fsckmsft URLs — for example, fsckmsft.org/your-slug/. It defaults to a URL-safe version of your organization name when you first create the workspace.
1

Open Settings → General

Navigate to Settings → General.
2

Edit the slug

Click the Workspace URL field and type the new slug. Slugs must be lowercase, contain only letters, numbers, and hyphens, and be at least three characters long. fsckmsft checks availability in real time and shows a green checkmark when the slug is free.
3

Save changes

Click Save changes to apply the new slug.
Changing your slug immediately breaks all existing links that use the old URL — including bookmarks, shared links in chat tools, and any hardcoded references in integrations or automations. Update those links after saving.
Your organization logo appears in the workspace header and in outgoing email notifications sent on behalf of your organization.
1

Open Settings → General

Navigate to Settings → General.
2

Upload a new logo

Click the logo thumbnail (or the Upload logo button if no logo has been set). Select a PNG, JPG, or SVG file. For best results, use a square image at least 256 × 256 px.
3

Crop and confirm

Use the crop tool to adjust framing, then click Save.
Use an SVG or a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background so your logo looks sharp on both light and dark UI themes.
To remove your logo, click next to the current logo thumbnail and select Remove logo. The workspace reverts to the default monogram icon.

Set the default role for new members

The default role is automatically assigned to any teammate who joins your workspace — whether via invitation or (if enabled) a shared join link. You can still override the role for individual invitations at send time.
1

Open Settings → General

Navigate to Settings → General.
2

Change the default role

In the Default member role dropdown, choose Admin, Member, or any custom role you’ve created (Business plan only).
3

Save

Click Save changes. New invitations will now default to this role in the invite dialog.
Changing the default role does not affect the roles of existing members — it only applies to people who join after the change is saved.

Delete the organization

Deleting your organization is permanent and irreversible. All projects, workflows, content, members, and billing data are erased and cannot be recovered.
Only the workspace Owner can delete the organization. This action cannot be undone. Export any data you need to keep before proceeding — see Export your data.
1

Export your data (recommended)

Before deleting, go to Settings → Data & privacy and use Export data to download a copy of your organization’s content.
2

Cancel your subscription

If you’re on a paid plan, downgrade to Free first to avoid future charges. Go to Settings → Billing and select Downgrade to Free.
3

Open Settings → General

Navigate to Settings → General and scroll to the bottom of the page — the Danger zone section.
4

Delete the organization

Click Delete organization. Type your organization name exactly as shown in the confirmation field, then click Permanently delete.
The workspace is immediately deactivated. All members lose access and receive an email notifying them that the organization has been deleted.
