Linking a CRM gives you a live, two-way sync between fsckmsft projects and your customer data. Changes to contacts, accounts, or deals in your CRM flow into fsckmsft automatically, and project status updates can write back — keeping sales and delivery teams aligned without manual exports.
CRM integrations are available on Pro and Business plans. You need Admin access in fsckmsft and a user account in your CRM with OAuth authorization privileges.

Connect your CRM

1

Open the Salesforce integration

Go to Settings → Integrations and click the Salesforce tile under the CRM section. Click Connect Salesforce to begin.
2

Authorize via OAuth

You are redirected to the Salesforce login screen. Sign in with the Salesforce account you want to use for the sync — typically a dedicated integration or admin user. Review the requested permissions and click Allow.
Use a Salesforce account that will remain active. If the authorizing user is deactivated, the sync pauses until you re-authorize with another account.
3

Choose objects to sync

After authorization, fsckmsft shows you the available Salesforce objects. Toggle on the ones you need:
  • Contacts — syncs contact records to fsckmsft people
  • Accounts — syncs account records to fsckmsft organizations
  • Opportunities — syncs deal/pipeline data to fsckmsft projects
You can enable or disable individual objects later without reconnecting.
4

Map fields

For each enabled object, the Field Mapping panel shows fsckmsft’s default field suggestions. Review each mapping and adjust as needed:
  • Use the fsckmsft field dropdown to change where a Salesforce field maps
  • Click + Add mapping to include custom Salesforce fields
  • Leave a field blank on either side to skip it during sync
Map Salesforce’s Owner field to fsckmsft’s Assignee so deals automatically route to the right team member.
5

Set sync direction

Choose how data flows for each object:
DirectionBehavior
Salesforce → fsckmsftCRM is the source of truth; fsckmsft receives updates only
fsckmsft → Salesforcefsckmsft writes back to CRM on project changes
BidirectionalChanges on either side sync to the other
6

Run and validate the first sync

Click Start Initial Sync. fsckmsft imports existing records matching your object and filter selections. When the sync completes, the Sync Log shows a summary: records created, updated, and skipped.Open a synced contact or account in fsckmsft and confirm the fields look correct. If you spot mapping errors, go to Field Mapping, fix them, and click Re-sync.
For advanced Salesforce configuration — custom object support, sync filters, and managed package options — see the Salesforce Partner Connector reference.

Monitor ongoing syncs

After the initial sync, fsckmsft keeps data up to date automatically. To check sync health:
  1. Go to Settings → Integrations and click your connected CRM.
  2. Open the Sync Log tab to see recent sync events, error details, and record-level change history.
  3. If a sync error appears, the log includes the affected record ID and a plain-language description of the problem.
If you revoke fsckmsft’s access from within Salesforce or HubSpot directly, the sync pauses immediately. Return to Settings → Integrations and re-authorize to resume.
